Friends Of The Devil’s Lettuce Announces One-Off Show Featuring Steve Kimock, George Porter Jr. & More

first_imgArdmore, PA’s Ardmore Music Hall has announced a special April 20th weed-themed celebratory concert, dubbed “Friends of the Devil’s Lettuce”.The one-night-only event boasts an all-star lineup, which includes guitarist Steve Kimock, bassist George Porter Jr. (The Meters), keyboardist Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), drummer John Morgan Kimock (Mike Gordon), and vocalist Leslie Mendelson. Cris Jacobs Band will handle the evening’s opening duties. The younger Kimock and Mendelson are frequent collaborators with Steve, as the trio just wrapped up a three-night Steve Kimock & Friends run at Mill Valley, CA’s Sweetwater Music Hall, which also included keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and bassist Reed Mathis.Steve Kimock also recently released a new studio track with his son, John. The multi-generational collaboration, which takes on a nostalgic, airy, and bright feel, is titled “Invocations 1”.
